Light is fluid, like
Time it never stands still.
I’m mystified by the tandem
movements of light in real time.
I’ll never capture it, yet
why stop trying?

So too in our flowering, we’re
always reaching for the Light.
I’ve watered and watched
as my kindred companions
keep growing beyond their bounds, by
seeking the source of all light. Will I?

Soon raucous Summer, you move
us to enjoy the Increasing.
We will venture out, my buds and me,
knowing that Winter’s brilliant
Blossoming came first within us, aye
even on this side of the window pane.
